Ke “Luke” Li obtained his Ph.D. from the Michigan Technological University as an environmental engineer. He has 14 years of experience in the water/wastewater treatment process design and modeling, urban growth modeling, water and energy nexus, and environmental impact assessment. Li’s research is focused on urban sustainability with the emphasis on the water sustainability, infrastructure ecology, life cycle assessment of sustainable solutions. The long term goal of Li’s research is to bridging between the self-emerging complex engineered systems with the rigid reductionism engineering methodology.
